Description

The temporary covers for manholes and handholes feature openings along the edge that are large enough to accommodate cables extending out of the hole, as well as two hand openings for easy transport, placement, and round manhole cover removal, making them very user-friendly. Splicing crews working inside splicing trailers beside a manhole often require additional fall-in protection for both the public and crew members, which is where manhole frames, also known as drain covers or access covers, come in. These frames are particularly useful for Utility Locators who need to connect their equipment to cables located in existing man or hand holes while leaving them unattended and unprotected.

FAQ

Why are manhole covers round?
Manhole covers, also referred to as drain covers and access covers, are typically round in shape because this design eliminates the need for rotation.
